It looks like more than KCR, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah is feeling the competition from AP CM Chandrababu. Couple of days after AP’s tech-savvy Naidu tried to woo IT industries to Vizag, Karnataka CM had openly requested Modi not to grant any special concessions to Andhra Pradesh’s IT sector.
After Naidu’s red carpet to IT giants, there were rumors that IT major Infosys is shifting it’s base to Vizag due to lack of infrastructure and the delay in providing road connectivity. Siddaramaiah clarified that Infosys is not shifting base from Karnataka and he assured to address their needs immediately.
Siddaramaiah said, if Modi does any largesse of generosity to IT development of AP, it will lead to unhealthy relation between Karnataka and AP. It clearly shows his growing discomfort and his inefficiency competing with Telugu CM. Earlier too, he faced wrath for losing HeroMoto corp to AP and blamed Center for giving big hand to Naidu.
